Senior IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

Earthlab Luxembourg (https://www.earthlab.lu/), an innovative company specializing in
earth observation and artificial intelligence, is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure &
DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving our IT
infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead existing IT infrastructure and monitor it performance to ensure its smooth
  operation and alignment with technical and business requirements.

• Configure and maintain hardware servers located in the data center.

• Propose and evaluate potential upgrades to the current technology stack, staying
  informed about emerging trends and technologies.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and tools, streamlining the software
  development and deployment process.

• Collaborate with technical leaders to automate processes across various aspects,
  considering business and technical constraints, configuration management, and
  security (DevSecOps).

• Create technical documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain accurate records.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues across different teams, keeping them
  informed about infrastructure updates and potential issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  (Master's degree preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and DevOps, including
  server administration, networking, and storage.

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure as
  code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet) and scripting languages (e.g.,
  Python, Bash).

• Mastery of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab,).

• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization and
  orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Mesos & Marathon, Kubernetes).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Industry environment knowledge is an asset.

• Fluent in English, and French is an asset
